About the role:

This full-time, long-term position is available for an HLTA to join our dedicated team due to the retirement of a valued team member. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of £100 - £120 per day, reflecting the importance of this role in enhancing our students' educational experience. You will work in a Key Stage 1 and 2 setting, supporting small class sizes of up to 25 students, providing tailored assistance to ensure every child thrives academically and socially. This role stands out for its collaborative approach, where you will work closely with experienced teachers to deliver a rich curriculum that inspires young learners.

Application Requirements:

• A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Relevant experience working in a primary school setting, preferably in Key Stage 1 and 2.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.
• A patient and adaptable approach, with a passion for fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Supporting students with their individual learning needs, particularly those with SEN.
• Leading small group interventions to enhance student understanding of the curriculum.
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.
• Maintaining a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
