We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Science, specialising in Physics, to join our successful team at Harrow. This role involves teaching a variety of courses such as A Level, BTEC Science, GCSE, Access to HE, and T Levels.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Physics across different levels up to Level 3, including A Level and BTEC.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods that cater to the needs of students aged 16-18.
  • Prepare course materials, assessments, and projects that align with curriculum objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress and achievements of students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Science, with a specialisation in Physics.
  • Experience teaching Physics up to Level 3, including A Level, T Levels, and/or BTEC.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and motivate young learners.
  • Either already possess or be willing to achieve a Level 5 teaching qualification, which will be supported financially by the College.
