Elevation Recruitment Group’s Senior Finance division is excited to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Leeds as they look to recruit a Management Accountant.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced finance team, where you'll play a key role in profitability reporting and driving financial improvements alongside the Financial Controller.

Key Duties & Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Ensure day-to-day financial transactions are accurately recorded, meeting all internal and external reporting deadlines
• Supporting the Accounts Assistant with Accounts Payable & Receivable processes
• Lead month-end close activities, including cost accounting, stock transactions, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, stock, fixed assets, intercompany, and payroll
• Prepare a detailed monthly accounts pack with variance analysis and commentary
• Manage group finance reporting (FCCS, CCC, BBC, etc.) 
• Oversee the monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC submissions (P60s, P11Ds)
• Ensure quarterly VAT returns are submitted on time and in line with regulations
• Assist in cashflow management, ensuring timely supplier payments and customer receipts
• Support budgeting & forecasting
• Assist with audits & annual inventory counts
• Stay up to date with changes in financial regulations & legislation

What We’re Looking For:

• Part-qualified CIMA / ACCA (or working towards qualification)
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs)
• Proven experience in management accounts & cashflow management
• Familiarity with MRP systems
• Previous experience in the manufacturing sector
