This is a really exciting time to be joining DMU. The People Services team has been through a period of change and we have several roles available to support the advancement of our ambitious Empowering University strategy.

Role

As a Workforce Insight Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in producing quality insights and strategic reporting to help the University make data-driven decisions. This includes analysing and visualising datasets, developing user documentation and guides and training staff to help enhance the data capabilities of the organisation. A key part of the role will be supporting the workforce planning strategy through close working with People Partners, faculty and directorate colleagues and helping to develop and produce interactive dashboards.

This role also involves project management responsibilities, collaborating with stakeholders across the university to foster culture change and drive continuous improvement on the use of data and insight.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced data analyst with knowledge of working with complex datasets to develop quality outputs.

Excellent written communication skills and experience of writing committee reports, guidance and other supporting materials for a range of audiences are essential. You will also possess project management skills, with the ability to work as a team.

Previous experience in an educational or higher education setting will be advantageous.
