Interim Accountant

£42,000 - 48,000 + benefits

Our client is looking to recruit an interim accountant. The company are a growing retailer and have forecasts to expand their operation over the next two years but first need to get the accounts sorted.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations will be the primary priority; you will be able to review and validate the accuracy of the accrual journals which may require them getting into details
• Strong analytical skills to be able to create accrual schedules for utilities based on consumption data and compare them against actuals
• Assist with year-end, able to review and investigate year end differences and close out those issues
• Take responsibility for historical issues and be able to reconcile and close out.
• You may also need to carry out bank reconciliations

To be successful you will ideally be a part qualified / qualified / qualified by experience Accountant who is immediately available to start. You will have good attention to detail, a willingness to get stuck in and assist with a variety of tasks.
