Our client, based in Norwich, are seeking a qualified accountant who is adaptable, resilient and a strong team player. In what is considered a fast paced environment, the successful candidate will have experience of working to strict deadlines in a hands on role.

Ideally you will be qualified (CIMA) and have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

Create cost and profit reports for main contracts and subcontracts, including revenue recognition.
Ensure transparent and timely reporting of all contract, claim, and financial matters to the appropriate management.
Manage various contracts, identifying, reducing, and controlling commercial risks in projects.
Lead internal cost reviews.
Provide financial support for developing price and cost models for new bids and opportunities.
Assist the line manager or take on delegated management tasks, such as project closeouts and audits.
Seek to improve company processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Deliver effective commercial contract support, focusing on cost engineering and project accounting.
Conduct IR35 reviews for all contractors and manage the IR35 process, records, and ESIP assessment tool.
Act as a link between day-to-day project requirements and the reporting and delivery of financial information, aligning with long-term contract accounting standards.
Provide project budgets and forecasts, including cost of outturn.
