Assistant Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented and committed Assistant Management Accountant. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic finance team, working in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the chance to maintain accurate financial records and support various accounting functions, ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department.

What you'll do:

• Assist in the preparation of month-end reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and budgets.
• Prepare cashflow analyses for review.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records, including expense reports and receipts.
• Assist with financial audits and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed.
• Participate in financial analysis and forecasting activities.

What you bring:

• AAT qualified or relevant experience.
• Proficient in using accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with international revenue recognition standards.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and a best practice approach.
