As a Senior Anaesthetic Nurse, you will:

Deliver safe, quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase.
Support, coordinate, and assist in managing and organising care within the operating department.
Provide clinical and managerial leadership to ensure quality patient care.
Lead patient care delivery during lists or specified periods.
Ensure adherence to patient safety policies.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of yourself and others.
Promote best evidence-based practice within your scope.
Apply relevant legislation, policies, and procedures correctly.
The ideal candidate for the Senior Anaesthetic Nurse role will have:

Registration with NMC or HCPC.
Post-registration qualification relevant to the specialty.
Approved/recognised anaesthetic course.
ILS and Orthopaedic skills.
Mentorship qualification and ILM3.
Experience in an acute healthcare environment.
Experience in managing and leading a clinical team.
