Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in West Midlands. The role is a permanent position which offers hybrid working.

The Role:

• Provide technical advice on product specifications and supply chain as required for construction and maintenance projects
• Responsible for managing external relationships with external suppliers and contractors
• Develops and maintain a supply chain monitoring system which will help to review supply chain performance
• Take a lead in identifying innovative products or methods
• Conduct market analysis on new potential suppliers
• Establish consistent product specifications and value for money supply chains across all construction and maintenance activities

The Person:

• Public Sector supply chain or procurement experience
• Experience working at a senior level within a complex organisation
• Knowledge of construction and maintenance activities
