This Geography Teacher role is suitable for someone who has previous experience being a Geography Teacher, prepared to go the extra mile. This is a full time Geography Teacher position with full teacher responsibilities.The successful candidate for this Geography Teacher role will play a important role and be a key member of the Geography Department.

Responsibilities:

* teaching all allocated areas of the curriculum insert additional information as required e.g. key stages 3 and 4

* organising classes and taking responsibility for the progress of lessons

* maintain discipline whilst motivating pupils and facilitating their development to meet agreed targets

* planning, preparing, presenting and marking classes in an imaginative, positive, stimulating and active way, facilitating development and meeting the needs of the whole ability range within the class

* providing feedback of pupils' progress as required

* - work with parents and governors to maximise their involvement in the school and the development of resources for it

Requirements:

* DBS has to be on update service or you must be willing to apply for a new one to register with us.

* QTS

* Experience working in schools as a class teacher
