JG196 – Plant OperatorLocation: BasingstokeSalary: £150 - £175 Per Day DOEOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Plant Operator.You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery, such as excavatorsOur client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators.
• Operate our 8t,14t, 16t & 20t excavator machines.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Wear required PPE and ensure equipment is operated in line with safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, fuel consumption, maintenance logs, and daily operation reports.
• Help in the preparation of construction sites by moving earth, rock, or materials and levelling ground surfaces in line with project specifications.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid license or certification for operating specific machinery (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent).
• A valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a construction setting.
