Our new, luxury care home is nestled in the charming village of Church Lawton, near Alsager. We provide exceptional standards of Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite Care for 60-residents.
We're looking for a special person who genuinely believes in bringing joy and warmth to our residents' lives every day.
If you have a heart for the older generation and a knack for spreading happiness, we want to hear from you! We're seeking someone who is sociable, creative, fun-loving, and exceptionally organized. Caring for our residents goes beyond just watching TV or playing Bingo—it's about creating meaningful moments that enhance their quality of life. Supported by our dedicated Activities Coordinators, you'll be the reason our residents' days are filled with laughter, variety, and enrichment.
Building connections with residents and getting to know their preferences is essential to making this role a success. You'll be considerate of each resident's individual needs, including varying support levels, from minimal assistance to dementia and nursing care.
Previous experience in a care home isn't required—we're looking for someone who shines and who is passionate about making a difference for our wonderful residents.
What You'll Do
- Plan and Organize: Design and manage a monthly program of activities and one-on-one sessions, encouraging residents to stay active and pursue their interests.
- Foster Social Connections: Help residents socialize and make the most of their time here through a wide range of activities catering to varied preferences.
- Keep Accurate Records: Maintain thorough documentation of daily activities and resident engagement.
