Job Title: Day-to-Day Supply Teacher (Primary Schools)
Location: Various Primary Schools in the New Forest, Calmore and Lymington area
Contract Type: Day-to-day supply (Flexible)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We are seeking reliable and experienced day-to-day supply teachers to join our team of dedicated educators across a variety of primary schools in the New Forest area. As a supply teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of high-quality education for students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

This is a flexible, on-demand role with opportunities to work in different schools across the region, covering a range of year groups and subjects. You will have the chance to inspire young learners, deliver engaging lessons, and support students' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, following provided lesson plans and ensuring students remain engaged and productive.
Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Provide feedback to the regular teacher on student progress, behavior, and any concerns.
Support children with diverse learning needs, providing additional assistance where necessary.
Manage any administrative tasks, such as marking or setting up materials, as required.
Foster strong relationships with students and staff, promoting a positive school culture.
Follow safeguarding protocols and school policies at all times.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in primary schools, ideally across a range of year groups.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different classroom environments quickly.
A flexible, adaptable approach to teaching and a positive attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport with students quickly and establish a calm, focused learning environment.
A commitment to ensuring the well-being and academic success of all students.

Desirable:

Experience in primary education across various year groups.
Knowledge of the primary curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging lessons for a range of age groups.
First Aid certification (training can be provided).
Experience working with children with additional learning needs (SEN) (preferred but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
