Senior Process Technologist - Manchester - Paying £37,000 - £46,000 + Day Shift + Career Progression!
The Company
We are working with a market leading manufacturer who are experiencing significant growth. They have a clear path for future company growth and a track record of progressing their employee's careers. Due to their expansion, they are looking to add a Senior Process Technologist to their team.

The Role
The Senior Process Technologist role is ideal for someone with NPD experience who is looking to take the next step to progress their career.
Key Responsibilities
* Communicating key actions and highlighting issues in a timely manner to key stake holders.
* Managing workloads with their process technologist.
* Checking trial reports completed by their process technologist or any other necessary paperwork such as organs, travel tests etc…
* Chasing raw materials, packaging & liaising on CAPEX if amends are required in line with CP dates. May be involved in briefing engineering if new kit is required.
* Final checks on costings updated and tracking margin management through - out projects.
* Attending feasibility trials relating to their category.
* Attending weekly category meetings with the customer pending on the size of the category
* Supporting & leading customer attended trials internally
* Supporting process technologists on trials and guiding & mentoring them.
* Conducting regular 1 to 1's with Process technologists and feeding back to Process manager any concerns etc.
* Checking off internal specs & samples - checking over techs work
* Lead Trial planning & Mop Up meetings
What We Are Looking For
The Senior Process Technologist will ideally have experience in a similar role and be a forward-thinking individual with attention to detail.
Ideally you will be/have:
* Previous experience working in an NPD role, in a food manufacturing environment.
* Previous experience managing a team.
* Excellent written English, able to write reports with grammatical accuracy.
* Leadership and communication skills, aligned to an enthusiastic and tenacious nature.
* Good organisational & time management skills
* A customer focused approach and the ability to communicate & influence across a variety all levels
