We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Programme Manager to oversee customer-funded initiatives and strategic R&D.

You will take immediate advantage of ongoing projects, managing and leading a cross-functional team of more than ten engineers and technical personnel to provide product to consumers and generate income. In addition to managing other projects and participating in some bid activity, the position is heavily focused on products.

You will be accountable for the following in this role:

• Overseeing cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to complete projects on schedule, under budget, and with high quality.

• Making sure that efficient project management methods are regularly used and proving that the project management procedure is followed

• Setting an example for your team by hitting goals and providing coaching to those in less senior positions.

• Establish trusting bonds with clients and internal stakeholders to guarantee that aims and objectives are understood, communicated, and carried out.

• Precise project scheduling in Microsoft Project, together with publication into the MS Project Server platform.

• Making certain that the project's scope is well understood, recorded, and maintained in collaboration with the client—internal or external.

• Determining project risk, problems, and dependencies and attempting to resolve them before escalating the situation.

• Working together with the finance team to create and track a budget, while making sure that pertinent data, like schedule-derived ETCs and factored risk cost exposure, is available and analysed.

• Creating dashboards for every project you work on and providing the Senior Leadership Team with a monthly status report.

• Create technical and business-oriented solutions to meet the needs of customers by collaborating with program directors, engineers, and business development.

To be successful in this role you are likely to have the following skills and experience:

• A great deal of expertise overseeing engineering projects from bid to production, with a focus on production, for the whole or a portion of the lifespan.

• Proven track record of inspiring teams to complete projects on schedule and under budget.

• Capacity to control scope creep and manage customer expectations.

• Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively at all corporate levels.

• Capable of solving problems with strength.

• Good judgement: knowing when to take charge and when to back off.

• Expertise in using and comprehending project management software, including Microsoft

Project, Microsoft Project Server, and other enterprise project management technologies.
