Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently recruiting for an Interim Accounts Payable Clerk to join a business based in North Bristol for a period of 3 months. This has the potential to become permanent.

Role: Accounts Payable Clerk

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 (Hourly rate equivalent)

Duration: 3 months - With the view to then become permanent

Start date: Monday 3rd February 2025

Working pattern: Flexible with start/finish times. Please note that this position is office based + parking.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with back log of invoices
• Entering data and inputting of invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparing payment runs
• Filing
• Ad hoc tasks to assist the wider finance team and ensure accurate management of the accounts payable ledger

Skills/Experience needed:

• Previous experience in managing an accounts payable ledger
• Computer literate - Willing to learn a new system
• Conscientious approach to work
• Team player - Willing to help the team and get stuck in
• Reliable - Can manage own workload
• Studied/studying AAT level 3 + - Preference
