£400 per day (umbrella)

Full Time Contract (6 Months)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Senior Accountant in Haringey. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

• To provide effective financial management for the pension fund and treasury management functions
• To contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies and plans, particularly in relation to pensions and treasury management
• Prepare and monitor budgets for the pension fund and treasury management functions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies

The candidate:

• Qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Significant experience in a financial management role, preferably within the public sector
• Experience of managing pension fund and/or treasury management activities is desirable
• Experience of managing and developing teams.
