Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of the nursery curriculum and activities.

Ensure that the nursery environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for children, staff, and parents.

Support the nursery manager in maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.

Lead and motivate a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and support as needed.

Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and caregivers, ensuring open and effective communication.

Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of nursery staff.

Requirements

Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare.

At least 1 year of experience in a senior nursery position.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in early childhood education.
