JOB - Electrical Design Engineer
LOCATION - Newcastle 
TERM - Permanent 
SALARY - £35,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience
 
A Newcastle based engineering company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. 
 
The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: 

HNC or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline
At least 3 years' experience in Control System design - through to commissioning
Strong understanding & experience working with industrial control panels
Proficient with AutoCAD electrical drawing package
PLC programming from scratch
Full UK driving licenseThe Electrical Design Engineer's duties will involve:

Creating & developing technical drawings, schematics & BoMs
Attending site visits when required
Liaising with customers & other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times
