Job title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Nights)

Location: Bedfordshire

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 DOE

Shift: Permanent Nights | 10pm-6am | Monday PM - Saturday AM

MDE is recruiting for an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Nights)to join a fast-paced manufacturing business on a permanent night shift.

Key Responsibilities of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer:

Perform engineering maintenance and fault finding on advanced industrial machinery, including Injection Moulding machines and assembly lines.
Perform routine PPM to ensure machinery operates efficiently and reduce the risk of breakdowns.
Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly to keep downtime to a minimum.
Troubleshoot PLC and drive systems.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations.
Use the company's CMMS system for managing maintenance tasks and resources.

Profile of the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer:

Experience in a Production Line or FMCG environment (Essential).
Knowledge in PLC fault finding (Desirable).
Knowledge of regulatory and legislative standards, including OHSE.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Electrical qualifications or hands on experience required.
