Remuneration: £30,000 - £40,000neg

The role of the Designer - Timber Structures will involve:

* Designer position dealing with a range of roof truss and joist projects for main contractors and house builders

* Ensure that all designs meet the client requirements so that offsite manufacturing can take place

* Liaise regularly with architects, engineers, and contractors providing excellent customer service

* Providing technical advice and recommendations based on client enquiries

* Work closely with internal departments providing support and resolving queries

* Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements

* Working on projects varying in value up to circa £250,000

The ideal applicant will be a Designer - Timber Structures industry with:

* Must have timber frame, roof truss or joist design experience

* Must have Revit / AutoCAD experience

* Ideally will have experience using Finnjoist, Wolf System or Mi-Tek

* Highly organised with good attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
