Position: Payroll Specialist

Role Purpose:

The primary objective is to ensure accurate and timely processing of all clients' payrolls while providing support to senior members of the department across various payroll tasks.

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of client payrolls, typically spanning 30-40 clients.
Possess a thorough understanding of current PAYE and NIC legislation relevant to payroll processing.
Input all relevant information for starters, leavers, benefits, and allowances into the Payroll database, maintaining an updated spreadsheet to track entries.
Calculate pay for mid-month leavers accurately.
Compute statutory payments as required.
Handle the processing of P45 forms. Skills:

Demonstrate a strong work ethic and readiness to assist team members when necessary.
Capable of multitasking and effectively prioritizing payroll tasks.
Exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Stay informed about legislative changes impacting payroll procedures.
Confidently interact with clients, displaying competence in client relations.
Proficient in using MS Office applications.
