About Us:
We are a well-established and respected secondary school located in the heart of Hounslow. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable School Facilities Assistant to join our facilities team.

Key Responsibilities:

Opening and closing the school premises on a split shift basis (morning and afternoon/evening).
Ensuring the security of the school buildings and grounds, including setting alarms.
Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance work as required.
Regular monitoring and inspection of the school premises, including classrooms, communal areas, and external grounds.
Supporting the school in setting up rooms for events, assemblies, and exams.
Ensuring the cleanliness of certain areas and supporting cleaning staff as necessary.
Assisting with deliveries and distributing supplies around the school.
Reporting any health and safety hazards or issues to the Facilities Manager.
Responding to any emergency call-outs during working hours.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a facilities or caretaking role (preferably in a school setting).
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Basic maintenance and DIY skills.
A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Good communication skills.
A commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and staff.
Willingness to work a split shift pattern.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
Shift Pattern:

Morning shift: 5:45 AM - 12:00PM
Afternoon/Evening shift: 1:30 PM - 7:30 PM
