An outstanding independent prep school in Sussex, on the South Coast are seeking a Head of Netball, Swimming and Athletics. This is a full time and permanent role from September 2024 or January 2025.

This independent prep school wants children to love learning for its own sake and to strive for excellence, but also to support its pupils on their own individual journeys - ready to lead happy and purposeful lives. The PE department has outstanding facilities including extensive playing fields, several courts, a large sports hall and an indoor swimming pool. The school is recognised nationally for its sporting achievements and the school community takes great pride in that.

The Head is searching for an outstanding PE teacher to lead Netball, Swimming and Athletics in the prep school. Someone who has excellent subject knowledge and a real passion for sport and fitness to continue the school's vision for PE and Sport. This is to encourage lifelong participation and enjoyment. By offering a varied and extensive curriculum and striving for sporting excellence the school aims to promote values of determination, resilience and respect. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Games across the school up to Year 8 and responsible for overseeing Netball, Swimming and Athletics.
