Accounts Manager responsibilities

Manage budgets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
Coordinate audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
Maintain and improve client relationships to ensure smooth financial operations
Monitor cash flow, financial forecasts, and performance metrics
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring professional development
Dealing with accounts queries from Customer Services Team (CST)
Responsible for accurate processing & reconciliation of various merchant transactional services including Worldpay/PayPal/cocoon
Ownership of quarterly VAT submissions, payment and reconciliation for one legal entity
Ownership of payroll and year-end submissionsProfile

A successful Accounts Manager should have:

A degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
A finance qualification such as AAT is ideal, but not essential
Proficiency in financial software - Sage
Advanced MS Excel skills
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation
Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills
Strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and accuracy

Accounts Manager:

Salary: £36,000 to £40,000 per annum
