An established and highly regarded Fire and Engineering Consultancy is looking for an experienced Fire Safety Consultant to join their Kent HQ.

The Fire Safety Consultant's Role

As a Fire Safety Consultant, you will provide expert advice and services across a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial, healthcare, and local authorities.

Your role will encompass surveying properties, conducting fire risk assessments, and managing fire risk for a diverse client base.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting fire risk assessments in accordance with UK regulations, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Surveying properties and providing tailored fire safety advice to clients.
Developing fire risk management plans to mitigate potential hazards.
Producing detailed and compliant reports with practical recommendations for fire safety improvements.
Collaborating with Fire Engineers and other specialists to deliver a comprehensive service.
Staying current with UK fire safety legislation and industry best practices.The Fire Safety Consultant will have

An Engineering Council Accredited BEng, Hons or MEng or MSc
Relevant fire safety qualifications, such as NEBOSH Fire Certificate, IFE Level 3, or equivalent.
Experience conducting fire risk assessments and surveys across various building types.
A thorough understanding of UK fire safety regulations, including Approved Document B and the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
A full UK driving licence and the willingness to travel when required.
