HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted - Join Our Team!
We are currently seeking an HGV Class 2 driver on behalf of our client, offering a competitive salary of £32,868 per annum plus a monthly bonus structure. If you're a reliable driver committed to safety and outstanding customer service, this could be the perfect role for you!
About the Role:Our client is looking for a dependable HGV Class 2 driver to manage specified deliveries, following the set procedures for their distribution fleet. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team and contribute to their continued success.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete all assigned deliveries on a daily basis.
- Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and the load is secure before departing.
- Correctly complete all delivery paperwork in line with company procedures.
- Handle and account for all payments collected in accordance with company guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing excellent customer service.
- Cash in all collected payments at the end of each working day.
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations, vehicle security protocols, and Ministry of Transport Operators licence requirements.
- Keep the vehicle clean to meet company audit standards.
- Report any vehicle defects or issues to the Operations Manager immediately.
- Address any customer queries or issues by communicating with the Operations Manager.
- Assist in the warehouse with picking and loading goods when needed, within your contracted hours.
- Perform any other general duties required by the role.
What You'll Need:- A full and valid Category C driving licence.
- No more than 6 penalty points; no DR, DD, or IN convictions.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying goods and moving in and out of the vehicle comfortably.
- Personal transport for commuting to and from work.
