The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a lading nuclear defence client, to be based out of Devonport, Plymouth (Nuclear)

Job Overview:

The Major Infrastructure Projects directorate provides major new or
upgraded dock, berth and building infrastructure projects to provide
facilities for the ship and submarine sustainment programmes.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be working within the Water Retaining
Boundary team, helping to manage the lead design consultant for a
critical civils design package. The purpose of a Senior Project Engineer is to ensure effective design
and project management of sub-packages within the WRB package.

Some of your duties will include:

• Supporting the Package Manager who is responsible for the
  delivery of multiple sub-packages.
• Working closely with the technical team to ensure deliverables
• meet stringent quality criterium by leading sub-packages
  through governance processes.
• Responsible for working with schedule, commercial, cost and
  risk management functions to ensure that design packages are
  delivered to time, cost, and quality parameters.
• Assisting the technical and project team in the development of
  requirements, project scope and solutions for specific work
  
  

What do you need to succeed?

• The candidate must have experience of project or design
  management, ideally within an infrastructure delivery.

• The candidate must have experience of project or design
  management, ideally within an infrastructure delivery.
• It is preferable that the candidate will have experience managing and
  administering an NEC4 contract.
• 
  The project is located on a Nuclear Licensed site, as such, experience
  in delivery of nuclear safety implicated structures, equipment or
  services would be of desirable.
