JOB TITLE - STOCK CONTROLLER

Job Summary:

We are currently representing an opportunity on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Hull who have very exciting plans to continue their growth in which the successful candidate will play a key role as a Stock Controller.

* In this role you would ensure the smooth and safe functioning of the Logistics and Warehouse areas.

* Your actions will directly improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring the company's needs are met.

Main Duties:

* Monitor inventory levels and track stock movements in real-time

* Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies

* Utilize inventory management software or manual systems to maintain records of stock levels, receipts, and deliveries

* Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements and aging inventory

* Provide insights and recommendations to management on inventory optimization, including identifying slow moving or obsolete stock.

* Organize storage areas and shelves to optimize space and facilitate efficient picking and restocking processes.

Person Specification:

* Competency in managing stock and inventory within an FMCG environment.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

* Confident communicator who can successfully collaborate with internal departments to drive improvements.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
