ABOUT THE ROLE

We are supporting a well-established private nursery in the Battersea area in their search for a Deputy Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education for children.

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in leading the team, maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations, and fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting the Nursery Manager in the overall operation of the setting.

* Leading and mentoring staff, ensuring high standards of teaching and care.

* Ensuring all policies and procedures are followed, including safeguarding.

* Supporting with occupancy, staff development, and compliance.

* Building strong relationships with children, families, and the wider nursery team.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager with:

✔️ A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above.
✔️ Previous experience in a senior role within an early years setting.
✔️ Strong knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding.
✔️ Excellent leadership and communication skills.
✔️ A hands-on, proactive approach to mentoring and supporting staff.
