Embrace the chance to lead with a mechanical bias, steering the course of mechanical/electrical estimates that not only meet but exceed client expectations while aligning with the company's strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in M&E estimating, coupled with a proven track record of fostering new business ventures and nurturing client relations. Adept at crafting meticulous estimates, the role demands proficiency in the latest estimating software, ensuring every detail is captured with precision.
Collaboration is key; hence, the ability to work seamlessly within a team, as well as independently, is paramount. The role requires a candidate who can manage their workload with minimal supervision, maintaining open lines of communication with the estimating team to prioritise tasks effectively.
Technical and contractual savvy is essential, as is the ability to technically and commercially evaluate mechanical quotations upon receipt. A close partnership with the Buying Department and operations teams is crucial during the tender, handover, and planning phases of each successful project.

Adherence to procedures, including risk and governance processes, is non-negotiable, ensuring all activities are documented and authorised appropriately. The role also involves contributing to tender preparation and construction programmes, as well as collaborating with various functions to prepare for procurement.
Staying abreast of industry technical developments is expected, alongside preparing financial models for framework submissions and producing high-calibre estimates for large-scale projects.
