Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Litigation Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis. Please find below further details with regards to the position.ROLE:                  Litigation LawyerRATE:                   £45.00 to £50,.00 per hour LTD (DOE and interview performance)LOCATION:         East London, hybrid workingCONTRACT:        36 hours per week, 3 months ongoingThe Role

• To manage a mixed caseload of Litigation matters through to completion
• Matters will include housing and adult social care debt matters
• Other matters will include property litigation, commercial and contract disputes, injunctions and judicial review

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE
• Experience in progressing full caseloads of relevant litigation matters through to completion will be essential
• Experience of working with a local authority is also highly desirable
