Job title: Cloud Architect

Location: Hybrid, Basingstoke [requirement to travel to other sites when needed]

Salary: £80k plus 10% DV bonus + £6k car allowance plus 10% bonus

Candidates must be willing and eligible to go through SC and DV security clearance for this role

I am looking for a Cloud architect for a client of mine who are a leading IT Systems Integrator operating within the UK defence sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join the client's digital practice where you will play a key part in creating new solutions to present to existing customers as well as being involved on new bids.

Your transferable skills and experience:

Extensive knowledge of the design and implementation of secure, highly resilient, large scalecloud based infrastructures preferably on GCP, Oracle or AWS platforms

Experience of working directly with customers to define and elaborate infrastructurerequirements

Excellent presentation skills with experience presenting up to CxO levelstakeholders/customers

Experience of deploying production cloud implementations with successful projectcompletion and service transition

Experience of designing cloud solutions to be compliant with security standards
Hands on' extensive scripting experience in the provisioning/management of cloudinfrastructure

Knowledge of automation tooling to facilitate CI/CD approaches to IaC
Experience of estimating costs/timescales for the implementation of cloud based systems

Desirable

Experience/knowledge of CIS/NIST/27001 security standards
Relevant cloud platform certification
Experience of MoDCloud solution deployments
