We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team in Plymouth. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for numbers, and the drive to excel, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.

* Perform variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.

* Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

* Assist with the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management.

* Liaise with various departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy.

* Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

* Support the year-end audit process and assist with the preparation of audit schedules.

* Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as required.

Requirements:

* Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent.

* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with [specific software] is a plus).

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Proactive and eager to learn and develop professionally
