We're looking for a Day Operator within our Enrichment plant. Based at our Capenhurst site, you'll work as part of a flexible team, supporting tasks specific to the delivery of operational KPIs that ensure targeted outputs are achieved. As an Operator 1 within the Enrichment Operations team, you will work with natural, enriched and depleted uranium to meet customer demands.

What you'll do:

Understand and carry out tasks in line with approved procedures to ensure they are performed safely and in a consistent way.
Understand and carry out activities identified in competency framework that support efficient running of the facility.
Transport, install and connect specified cylinders to ensure sufficient availability of stations to continue plant operations
Commission, decommission and disconnect stations to ensure sufficient plant capacity is maintained.
Be an active participant to promote Zero Harm initiatives and thereby maintain a safe, reliable and secure working environment
What do you need to thrive in this role?

Process/Craft apprentice or equivalent process plant operating experience
Ability to interpret and follow written procedures
Fault finding and trouble shooting
Demonstrate knowledge of safe operating conditions.
IT literate to support use of Microsoft applications, SAP and other bespoke plant software
Demonstrate ability to work in a team
Demonstrate ability to learn new skills
