Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Childrens Registered Care Manager for our client based in Walsall to ensure the smooth running of 2 therapeutic EBD Homes.

Our client is a provider of care and support to children & young people who have complex mental health disorders, learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Salary for Childrens Registered Care Manager: £55,000 - review available after 6month review

As a Childrens Registered Care Manager you will:

* Ensure full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, Ofsted guidelines, and Quality Standards

* Maintain and regularly review the Statement of Purpose to reflect current care practices

* Facilitate Reg 44 visits and action any findings promptly; complete and submit Reg 45 reports every six months

* Meet all Health & Safety standards and ensure care documentation is current and shared appropriately

* Uphold and promote the vision and core values of Clouds / Sunlight Care

* Handle complaints and safeguarding concerns, reporting to LADO, Ofsted, Social Workers as needed

* Manage staffing rotas, payroll, finances, supervision, training, and other HR-related duties within deadlines

* Work with HR on staff recruitment, retention, and any performance concerns

* Maintain full home occupancy with appropriate placement matching for current residents

* Conduct staff supervisions, PDPs, and promote professional development and policy awareness

* Participate in the on-call rota as required

* Ensure young people live in a safe, nurturing environment where their well-being and development are prioritised

* Encourage young people's voices to be heard and involve them in their care planning appropriately

Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience Childrens Registered Care Manager:

* Recent experience working within the residential sector at a Registered Manager level within a Children Residential Service

* Exceptional management & leadership skills and a passion for providing high-quality care

* Must complete and be successful in the registration process with Ofsted

* Diploma Level 5 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) - or equivalent

* Diploma Level 5 Leadership and Management - or equivalent

Working Rota: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday with the requirement on occasion, to work such hours over and above your normal weekly pattern as reasonably required
