About the role:

Continuing at full speed, and on their path, as a high-growth company, we are looking for a sales leader to hyperdrive growth in the company’s next chapter. You will be part of the senior management team and responsible for all the new business within the UKI region.

In this key sales leadership role you will lead the growth and expansion of the new business team and be part of the upwards trajectory as they scale the European business rapidly, entering new markets and growing our already-strong customer base.

In this role, you will:

  • Report to the EMEA Sales & Commercial Director and be a member of the EMEA senior management team, contributing to the development and execution of the overall business and organisational strategy.
  • Achieve the sales goal for the UKi markets with a strong focus on the Enterprise markets.
  • Manage, coach, mentor and develop a team of high-performing and proven Business Development Managers & potentially the SDR Team down the line.
  • Develop and execute sales strategy based on data analysis.
  • Build strong relationships with customers.
  • Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
  • Develop high-accuracy forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis and have a strong understanding of factors influencing performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Customer Success Leadership to ensure quality lead volume across multiple channels for the UKI Sales team.
  • Provide input into new market entry and early sales feedback in market.
  • Become a role model, mentor and approachable in any situation to the sales team.

Minimum requirements for this role:

  • 10+ years sales experience (SaaS / Telecoms or Telematics)
  • 5+ years in sales management as a National Sales Manager/HOS Role.
  • Proven track record of leading teams to consistent quota over-achievement in complex environments.
  • Proven success working within a complex organisation and aligning executive stakeholders to achieve high-growth sales targets.

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Strong operational, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to influence and lead teams through rapid and difficult transition.
  • Experience leading teams with strong outbound / cold-calling practices.
  • Strong familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Ability to mentor and coach teams to become high performers.
