What we're looking for:
- SEN or Mental Health Experience: Previous experience working with students who have SEN or mental health needs is highly desirable.
- Passion for Mental Health: A genuine interest in supporting students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
- Understanding of SEN: A strong interest in or experience with the unique learning and behavioral needs of students in an SEN setting.
- Local Candidate: Ideally, you will be based within commuting distance of Shefford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and communication challenges.
- Work collaboratively with the clinical and educational teams to implement effective interventions and support strategies.
- Assist in developing individual learning plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide emotional and pastoral support to ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
