Sheridan Maine is proud to partner with a fast-growing and well-established business services organisation in Stratford-upon-Avon, seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their dynamic team. This hybrid role offers flexibility, with two days working from home once probation is passed.
Responsibilities of the Audit Senior include: - Lead the audit process from the initial planning phase through to final delivery, ensuring smooth execution.
- Handle non-audit tasks such as preparing financial statements and calculating tax obligations.
- Set realistic and meaningful job budgets, keeping Managers updated on any potential challenges.
- Maintain a strong understanding of each client’s business, ensuring work is completed to meet both client expectations and deadlines.
- Help develop and mentor junior team members, providing constructive feedback and support on their assignments and offering coaching when needed.
- Collaborate with the team to share best practices and contribute ideas for process improvement and professional development.
The successful Audit Senior will require: - An ACA/ACCA qualification with 2-3 years of audit experience.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach.
- A good level of technical knowledge of Audit & Accounting standards.
- Previous experience of accounting software including Sage and Xero.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
