ENGINEERING MANAGER
Auric Metal Finishers is seeking to recruit an Engineer Manager. Salary is dependent on experience & qualifications and will be discussed at the interview stage. The salary range is £35,000 - 45,000pa paid monthly in arrears.
We are a highly successful company providing a subcontract plating service to manufacturers of electrical connectors and associated components. Our service extends to many key sectors including Automotive, Medical, Aerospace, and Industrial.
We are looking an Engineering Manager to:
* Lead a small team in their engineering and maintenance activities,
* Co-ordinate contracted services for specialist maintenance activity,
* Procure and oversee installation of plant and equipment,
* Draught bespoke items of tooling and equipment used in our specialist machinery.
This requires skills with computers, including AutoCAD software and general office products.
You will be working on site and your main tasks will be to maintain and improve our bespoke and quite unique electroplating plant.
You will need to have:
* Experience in working in an industrial background.
* Excellent fault-finding skills.
* A sound knowledge of mechanical engineering
* It would be beneficial to have a working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs.
Full training will be given in our various Health, Safety and Environmental obligations.
Your hours of work will be 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 - 13:00 on Friday. You will receive a 30-minutes unpaid break each shift for lunch.
You are entitled to 24 days' holiday per year and 8 statutory Bank Holidays. The holiday year is from 1 January to 31 December.
