Our client is seeking two SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing essential assistance to students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEN.

Assist in delivering tailored interventions to support learning and development.

Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans).

Use strategies to support students with communication, emotional regulation, and social skills.

Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Support students in both classroom-based and outdoor learning activities.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential).

A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or SEN support is desirable but not required.

An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
