National Account Manager

Location: Hybrid - Greater Liverpool Area and North of England
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are recruiting for an experienced National Account Manager to join a leading organisation within the Building Materials sector. This hybrid role will see you working part of the time from the office in the Greater Liverpool Area and the rest out on the road, building relationships with merchants and buying groups across the North of England.

Key Responsibilities:

* - Manage and develop key national accounts, focusing on merchants and buying groups within the building materials sector.

* - Split time between working from the office and travelling to meet with customers across the North of England, building and nurturing strong relationships.

* - Drive sales and maximise revenue opportunities, contributing to overall business growth.

* - Collaborate with internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions that meet customer needs and ensure smooth delivery of products.

* - Identify new business opportunities and stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to optimise account performance.

* - Regularly attend client meetings, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirements:

* - Proven experience as a National Account Manager, ideally within the building materials sector.

* - Strong knowledge of the merchant and buying group landscape.

* - Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

* - Ability to work independently, with a flexible approach to managing time between office work and customer visits.

* - Full UK driving licence.
