Estimator - Passive Fire Protection
Location: Darlington Office (Hybrid - 3 days in-office, 2 days from home)
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum + package

Are you an Estimator looking to work with a leading company in passive fire protection and fire stopping? My client specialises in delivering high-quality projects across the healthcare, hospitality, leisure, commercial, social housing, heritage, and industrial sectors throughout the UK. With offices in the North, Midlands, and South of England, we're seeking a skilled Estimator to join the team in Darlington.

The Role

As an Estimator, you will:

* Prepare accurate cost estimates for passive fire protection and fire stopping projects.

* Analyse project requirements, specifications, and tender documents.

* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather relevant information.

* Develop competitive bids and proposals, ensuring they align with client needs and budgets.

* Monitor costs and project profitability, providing insights to the management team.

* Stay updated on market trends and pricing for materials and labour.

This is a hybrid working role, offering flexibility with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

* Have proven experience as an Estimator in passive fire protection and fire stopping.

* Possess a strong understanding of fire safety regulations and project requirements.

* Be detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled in preparing accurate estimates.

* Have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
