Interim Financial Controller 12 Month Fix Term Contract £70,000 - £80,000  Hybrid Working Sheffield Elevation Recruitment Group are working closely with a key client of ours based in Sheffield who're looking for a Financial Controller to join them on a 12 month FTC. We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Financial Controller to lead and oversee all retained accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in financial controls. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and a proactive approach to driving efficiency and value within the finance function.Key Responsibilities: - Oversee financial reporting processes- Collaborate closely with internal teams to maintain strong service levels and alignment with business objectives- Lead a high-performing finance team, ensuring all accounting objectives are met on time and to a high standard- Lead the 2024 UK statutory accounts audit- Manage the month-end close process for UK entities, ensuring efficiency and compliance- Liaise with auditors to ensure smooth audits and quick issue resolutionKey Skills:- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)- Proven experience in leading and managing a teams- Strong technical accounting expertise with a focus on accuracy and compliance- Highly organised with a track record of meeting strict deadlinesIf you are a qualified accountant with the skills and experience required for this role, we’d love to hear from you.
