Transport Planner

Location: Halesowen

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (DOE)

Shifts: Monday - Friday (6am - 3pm) - Flexibility Available

To schedule and plan day-to-day customer deliveries.
Liaise with new and existing customers.
Meet transport legislation commitment.
Monitor fleet maintenance requirements and liaise with drivers.
Daily input of KPI's, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork.Requirements:

Previous Transport Planning Experience.
Previous experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder/Road Transport Company or Shipping Line.
Previous experience with General Haulage
Knowledge of the WTD, Drivers Hours, Tachograph and Transport legislation would be beneficial.
Ability to thrive in a busy work environment.
