Key Responsibilities:

Assist in leading the execution of electrical/avionics engineering activities ensuring products and services are delivered on time and on budget
Manage employees performing electrical/avionic design and certification activities, implementing and enforcing engineering functional excellence
Drive the development and execution of technical projects and process plans, setting effective operational goals
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manage, develop, and motivate employees, including skill, career, and talent development
Handle day-to-day project management of engineering activities related to EASA design organisation projects
Provide regular feedback to the Senior Engineering Manager on the performance of the team

Job Requirements:

Degree from an accredited course of study in aerospace or other safety critical engineering disciplines
Experience working in an EASA Design Organisation (DOA) or similar aerospace fields

Skills/Experience:

Knowledge of Type Design and Continuing Airworthiness for EASA/FAA aircraft
Understanding of the certification of part/CS 23/25, 27/29 aircraft and their design changes and modifications
Proven record of delivering complex engineering change programmes with strong project management skills
Expert in managing both experienced and junior engineers, with a track record of building highly effective distributed teams
Comfortable working in a dynamic, matrixed environment with the ability to adapt to various technologies
Experience in EASA design organisation projects with strong time management skills
