Hertfordshire Catering Limited (HCL) are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic General Catering Assistant to work in Maple Tree School

This role is term time only, working Monday to Friday, so it's ideal for a great work-life balance!

It is essential for you to have a valid driving license

Your role as a General Catering Assistant will involve:

• Basic food preparation and cooking
• Driving HCL Van transporting food
• Deliver hot food to St Swithuns and collect clean equipment from the previous day.
• Will then go to Laburnum with hot food and serve food.
• Cleaning duties within the kitchen/dining area
• Health & safety compliance
• Food service to students & staff
• Friendly and polite customer service
• Basic IT skills

What we ask from you:

• Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential
• Team player
• Food hygiene level 2 (preferred, but not essential as training will be given)
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
• Exceptional timekeeping and reliability
• Strong communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English
• Valid driving license, business insurance, HCL Van provided
