Are you an experienced and proactive HR professional looking to make a real difference? We're seeking a dynamic HR Manager to lead all aspects of human resources for a leading Luton-based not-for-profit organisation.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll shape strategy, ensure compliance, and foster employee engagement, helping our talented team thrive in a positive and inclusive workplace.

The position is part- time working three days per week. .

What You'll Do

* HR Management : Develop and implement HR policies aligned with the organisation's goals.

* Compliance & Policy: Ensure HR practices meet employment laws and industry best practices.

* Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead hiring processes and onboarding to reflect the organisation's values.

* Performance Management: Oversee appraisals and support line managers with performance issues.

* Employee Relations: Be the go-to advisor for HR queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters.

* Reward & Recognition: Manage benefits strategies and support retention initiatives.

* Training & Development: Design training programmes to support professional growth and compliance.

* Reporting: Provider HR updates and insights to the leadership team and the board.

What They are Looking For

* Proven experience in a standalone HR Manager role with a strong focus on strategy and leadership.

* Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

* A CIPD qualification or eqivalent (or working towards it).

* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Experience of working with unions or similar organisations is highly desirable.
