Daniel John Recruitment are working with a Private Equity backed organisation based near Leamington Spa. As the Head of Finance and a member of the senior management team you will be part of a business expected to grow to £25m turnover this year.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant with strong commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on financial performance, profitability, and resource allocation.
• Lead the finance team of 3 individuals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Oversee the creation and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Analyse financial performance, identify key trends, and provide actionable insights for improvement.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).

The ideal candidate will:

• Be qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Have exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Hold advanced proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, BI tools).
• Possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
