Multi Skilled Engineer

Alexander Steele is recruiting a multi skilled engineer for a leading food manufacturing business based in Worcestershire. The successful candidate will play an integral part of the engineering team responsible for maintaining and optimising production machinery and processes.

Responsibilities:

* Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on a wide range of production equipment, including conveyors and packaging machines.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimise downtime and production interruptions.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality

* Responsible for continuously reviewing systems of work within the team ensuring that safest procedures are in place

Background Experience:

* HNC, HND or degree in electrical, mechanical or related engineering field (no preference to bias).

* 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing or processing environment.

* 18th Edition wiring regulations

* Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels.

* Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.
